So customs strikes again!
after so many deliveries i got successfully this year (believe me.. its a lot.. i got like one package a week around october... and especially from play-asia.. my room is full of play-asia boxes!)
out of all those mail this year, i only got taxed twice... dhl shipment early this year from ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kukuhara and fedex from play-asia this month. a total of 3 in my whole life (first was the very memorable music-man shipment)
anyway so on to the evidence

i dont really see why they need to tax these x_x
the computations arent even as detailed as what i got with MUSIC-MAN. (could it be because that passed through the post office and they're more transparent?)
lessons learned:
1. never courier... never again.. ems if needed. courier is strict with getting all cost details
2. never give in to coupons... in this case, instead of saving 5usd, i ended up spending approx. 30usd on tax instead
3. DON'T i meant DO NOT DO NOT exceed 50usd. look for other ways if needed
4. look for connections in customs. just dont give bribe
5. dont order during christmas season... that means mid november until end of december.. unless its preorder and wont ship until after this period

ahhhhhhhhhhh... smell the nice cool air? christmas is near...
it feels just like last year
smell the fishy scent of customs?
yep it's that time of the year again...
unnecessary expenses to add more to your christmas expenses.
i dont have the receipt yet (its at home) but i (well my dad for now.. i'll pay him later) paid more than 50% (of the price of the item i bought) VAT/tax
details in a future post (most probably tonight)
i am still upset... since yesterday... i had my suspicions when my mail didn't arrive last saturday.

Mom and little brother (I blame them since they're the ones who last used it) managed to make the desktop PC not working so I am offline for 2 days already. Tomorrow I'll be bringing it to the technician for an overhaul. My precious files I cry for you. T_T
Good thing I managed to transfer the ones I can't bear losing (photobook scans/album & single zips and subbed videos) but the pictures and other odd findings, I shall just cry at the loss if ever it cannot be recovered. share me your finds soon, ok?
Older brother's betting it's the hardware, I'm betting it's the software or the already faulty hard drive. **sigh** I can't not have a PC during this season. How would I check Facebook updates and read the latest happening on my already-scarce fandom/s? LOL. Kidding aside, it's the season to be updated with everyone, as I'm cheapo with text messaging credits and I'd rather post on everyone's Facebook wall my greetings. XD
I'm at Cyworld (an internet cafe with Korean keyboards and playing Korean music non-stop) and it's been 2 years that I was last here and still, I was irritated with renters beside me. I miss my home P.C. all the more. T_T

Kulebra (Spanish for snake) refers to shingles in the Philippines. It is an infection of peripheral nerves that manifests with blisters affecting only a narrow section of the body (dermatomes). It is a recurrence of varicella infection and is more frequent among the elderly than in younger age groups. The blisters can be exquisitely painful and can be prone to secondary infection. A recent encounter reminded me that people can die of this condition; but not recently, not anymore at least (I hope so).

2) 2-3 bottles of Lambrusco

The holiday traffic monster snares have begun! Although the economic downturn has visibly scaled down the activity, one can definitely feel the energy, especially along Julia Vargas. Bah! Humbug! :D
